Step 1: Receive Your Download Email
Immediately after your purchase, you will receive a download email. If you haven't received this email, check your spam folder and add us as a safe sender. If you still can't find it, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. There may be a problem with the email that you originally provided.
Step 2: Download the Presets
Your download will contain a zipped file. Back-up this file for future reference. Each purchase comes with three lifetime downloads. Can't find your downloaded file? Downloaded files are often found in the downloads file on your hard drive.
Step 3: Unzip the Files
If you have a PC: Right-click on the downloaded folder and then click “extract all”. If you have a MAC: Double-click on the downloaded folder and your computer will automatically extract all. Some newer PCs and MACs will automatically unzip the file following download.
Save the extracted files in a documented location on your computer.
Step 4a: Open the Adobe Camera Raw Settings Folder on your Computer
Open the Settings Folder on your computer with by clicking on the following pathway:
On Mac, you may need to press ⌘ + G or shift + ⌘ + G and paste the above path into the Go To sheet, as the User Library folder may not be visible.
* If you have trouble finding the Settings Folder, visit Troubleshootingat the bottom of these instructions.
Step 4b: An Alternative Means of Finding the Adobe Camera Raw Settings Folder on your Computer
Then, click on the select presets tab, followed by the show Lightroom presets folder.
Finally, select the Camera Raw folder (not the Lightroom folder). The Settings folder will be inside of the Camera Raw folder. The Setting folder is where you place your .xmp preset files.
Step 5: Paste in the Presets
Find the folder containing your downloads and copy all your .xmp files from the presets folder. If you have pasted previous .xmp files in the Settings Folder, you will see those files in the Settings Folder. Add your new .xmp files to this folder by pasting the .xmp files into the Settings Folder.
Once your presets are copied to, or installed in, the settings folder, they are compatible with both Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw.
Step 6: Open and Close Lightroom
Once you install your presets, close Lightroom. When you re-open Lightroom, your presets will be installed.
Step 7: Start Using the Presets
To access your presets, go to the develop module and you will see them in the left-hand side. Click on the name of any preset to apply it to your photo.

There is no change to the file formatting or installation location of brushes. Brushes are still installed in the local adjustment presets folder and they are still formatted as .lrt files.
