Brushes are compatible with Lightroom 5, Lightroom 6, and Lightroom Classic, but not Lightroom CC desktop. Lightroom CC desktop does not yet allow for brush presets.
You might like to add your vote to this feature request because Adobe uses customer feedback to determine their priorities.
